Always trim your candle’s wick to 1/4” prior to every burn and never leave a burning candle unattended.
Light your candle, melt a small portion of the wax, and blow it out. When it cools to your comfort level pour some in your hand, rub both hands together, and then get started on your partner's massage. Relight to melt more wax.
